I kept seeing the same problem across Shopify stores

Merchants spend thousands on ads but can't tell which message actually convinced a customer to buy. Post-purchase surveys return labels like “Instagram” — not explanations. I built BetterFeedback to fix that.

What I believe

Most post-purchase surveys give you multiple-choice answers like “Instagram,” “product quality,” or “a friend told me.” Those labels don't tell you which ad, which feature, or which friend. BetterFeedback asks AI follow-up questions after checkout and turns each response into a short, useful explanation.

Why I started

Static surveys miss the context that drives decisions

Problem

I built BetterFeedback because I saw the same issue across ecommerce: merchants spend thousands on ads, but they can't tell which messages actually convinced customers to buy.

Approach

Instead of adding more answer options, I gave the survey a brain. AI asks follow-up questions based on each response — the same thing a good interviewer would do, but at scale, after every purchase.
