Client Input Data (DATA): When you use the Service, you are the Data Controller of the feedback data (including text, audio, and respondent information) you collect. We process this data strictly as a Data Processor on your behalf.
Audio and High-Cost Input: Data collected via voice recording is processed securely for transcription and analysis. We utilize specialized external services for this (Sub-processors).
Deletion: You, the Client, control the retention of your collected data and can delete it via your account interface or upon termination of the Agreement.

Where do we obtain your personal data from?
The personal information we collect comes directly from you. This happens when:
- You are browsing our website.
- You send us questions or a request for an offer.
- You purchase a license or subscription.
- You create an account on our Service.
- You use our Application (Client-side usage).
What personal data is processed by us?
1. Data Processed Directly by BetterFeedback.ai (Controller Processing)
- Account Registration Data: Names, email addresses, company information (provided during signup).
- Billing and License Data: License validation status, subscription status.
- Communication Data: Support communications and tickets (emails, chat logs).
- Technical Data: IP addresses, browser and device information, and logs used for error monitoring.
- Client Input Metadata: Non-identifying metadata about the collected data (e.g., total response count, plan usage, API usage duration).
2. Data Processed by BetterFeedback.ai on Your Behalf (Processor Processing)
Client Input Data (DATA): This includes the actual content of the feedback you collect (survey text, transcribed audio, respondent IDs you assign, etc.). This data is processed according to your instructions under the DPA.

Who is the recipient of your personal data?
The recipients of your personal data are our trusted external entities, including:
- IT Service Providers: Data hosting, business mail, and infrastructure providers.
- Payment Processors: Companies supporting us in handling orders and payments (Paddle).
- Other Sub-processors: Entities that provide specialized services like audio transcription, data analysis, and support management.
